Yea not sure I can agree with such basic analysis. OFC better defenders means fewer goals conceded but I do see other teams with inferior defenders doing better. I don’t think the CBs are out of position - maybe 3 at the back is an issue but again, not for other teams (Palace obvs. So, not convinced

Yeah don’t get purpose of this now. I’ve enjoyed no crap like this this season. Alas. Also think, while appreciating he didn’t feel 100% good about it, the criticism directors were prepared to sell for £100m but didn’t, because the coach wanted him to stay, is exactly the way the club should work

Huge fun! Lots of questions to be asked about why we concede so many damn goals, and ultimately that is now a huge amount of Old Trafford points dropped since October…but you’ve got to get a bit of joy out of a 4-4 otherwise why do we bother

You are right, I agree. I don’t think that consideration has ever crossed the minds of the likes of Neville and Scholes. Neville in particular was much kinder in his recent criticism of Wirtz than he was of Sesko for example. They damage the club with their rhetoric a lot more than they help it

Wasn’t his point exactly that though, from a players perspective that he would advise him to leave for the good of his own career, rather than the good of the club? Perfectly understandable point. If I was Kobbie, sticking Ugarte on against West Ham, in Bruno’s position, would be my final straw.

Put all his eggs in the clean sheet basket didn’t he. Players and manager are lacking a killer instinct. Both in game and in the wider context of the league. Big opportunity missed against Everton the Hammers tonight. 5 hour drive to the game today and it’s a very long way home after that

With my girls we pre-emptively banned it and had a good convo about why. Hard as feels like we are the only ones, so they feel they miss out. But they are huge fans of Minecraft and spend a lot of time recreating YouTube lets plays. Also spend a lot of time with Mario Kart 8 and Animal Crossing.

Why are we conceding so many goals? If I look at each CB I think they are doing OK. the keeper seems good enough now, but we still concede. I saw that spectacular Casemiro stat (5 goals conceded with him on pitch, 15 without) is it post 60 mins midfield that must improve? Wingbacks? Thoughts pls ☺️

So much fun. I was literally kick my legs in excitement at the final reveal. Not many TV shows can make you feel like that. There was a bit of tension between people removed (I guess because for the celebs the money means less, or their image means more!) so the fun of the game was much more present

Although saying that, I’ve not bothered watching any of the group games this year, so maybe you’re right. They’ve made it so boring for neutrals we’ve turned off.
