This buzzard died because someone poisoned the rodent it would have killed anyway.

An injured buzzard to add to the waifs and strays; kept safe overnight and over-optimistically released yesterday.
I returned to see it being savagely attacked by another buzzard so rescued it again.
Hopefully, a few days rest, rehydration and food will help but I fear not.

Dani, the semi-resident European Wildcat (or genetically close) has been demanding food (hissing at me) several times a day.
We thought she'd lost the kittens she was clearly carrying - but she brought them today.
The responsible thing is to have them sterilised (much as I dislike intervention).

The Barn Owl are busy - I'm now trying to find a sensible way to accommodate their insistence to use the hole in the roof to raise their young with my need to stop the house decaying - after fledging and their usual short summer disappearance, of course.
