On this day 9 years ago, I booted up Xenoblade X for the first time, and brought a little minty pal into the world. Who would have thought that she'd still be near and dear to me, even 9 years later?

Here's my little pixel cat from the Undertale memories thing on its own! This style is particularly interesting to work in; you can do quite a lot with just black and white by playing with negative space.

I could have been silly and said something like "I accidentally gave my cat a Pavlovian response to the tune of Memory" (which is a real thing I did), but I felt that this occasion deserved something a bit more earnest. Does that duality of silliness and earnestness not embody your work, though?

I tested Glaze on a rough little sketch I did to test some brushes back in 2022. Gives my laptop's fans a workout, but that just means it's working hard to protect anything I draw! :)

I like to show Hubert fresh cherry tomatoes and peppers I pick from my garden every now and again. Fruits and veggies are of no interest to a cat, but it satisfies his curiosity to know what I’m up to!

The pollinators have been loving my catnip as of late! There have been two bumblebees who regularly come to it, as well as a little butterfly I see from time to time. 🌱

Curiously, there seems to be a bit of a gen 1-5 bias here if you don't count Decidueye and Clodsire, regional forms notwithstanding.

The original from 2017! I've been in so much of a funk with my art the past few years that I didn't realize how far I've come! (The eyes are more accurate to his actual design too, since I'd based the original's a bit more on his ingame eyes at the time.)
