When the first ray of light broke into his room, J shot up and looked around. Instinctively, he opened his phone, and froze when he seen the nun's obituary page. Seems like she had indeed managed to make it to his Graduation day party after all.

He didn't know what to do. His phone refused to work, and this shadow was near the door to his room. It didn't feel malicious, but he felt like something bad would happen if he was near that shadow, so he simply pulled the covers over his head, and closed his eyes, praying that he'd see morning.

His texts opened on their own, and the letters H-E-L-L-O filled in one by one. The music box went off, and as he looked up confused, he froze as he saw dark shadows in his room. The unnatural darkness consumed even the light of the alarm clock he had next to his bed, which was bright.

Now, J was going through some personal matters at the time, and that night was planning on sneaking out. He reported that at 2, he grabbed his phone to text a girl he was going to meet, but he found his phone suddenly frozen. Annoyed, he tried resetting the device, but it refused.

J, being a good person, invited the nun. While she had never met the boy, she was excited, and got him a well thought out graduation gift. Unfortunately, her illness claimed her before she and J could meet. Her gift did make it to J though. A small music box globe. He himself was happy and sad.

Well, alot of the people down on their luck cling to whatever hope they can get. In this case, a terminally ill woman of the cloth became friends with J's mother, and as J neared graduation, she found herself wanting to meet the boy.
