Heardddddd. Honestly, that's the best part about mod-friendly games to me. You can respect the vision that they had for the game while still tuning the experience to your own desires

If I'm playing against other people, I like the game to be balanced. I won't use it out of principle if it feels entirely busted.

If it's against AI? I'm throwing EVERYTHING I have at them. If it's within the game, it's fair game. Unless it dramatically reduces the fun I have in game, anyways

For me, if I'm playing any sort of rpg or open world game, the blanker the slate the better. I don't even want my character to have a voice if it can be helped. But if there's a very particular story to be told, and that narrative is character focused, then I want to play as someone, not as no-one.
