Like, I saw it mostly in the context of articles/videos of police abuse where people commented it as a slogan alongside “ACAB”, with no further elaboration. I think the not-terminally-online took it to mean “get rid of all police and let community militias sort it out”

I think there was some language drift with the word “defund” as it gained traction on social media. People in my feeds framed their support for it as if it meant “abolish” instead of “reallocate resources”, and I’d bet that’s the version that was cemented in public consciousness

MSS contractors have been doing their 9-5 and then hopping onto their side hustle after clocking out for ages. Interesting that they’re now bringing their working tools with them. I can’t imagine their bosses would be happy with that lol
