My durge, Lucian, is “Lu” to most of the companions; Karlach calls him “Lulu.”

And while Gortash doesn’t have a nickname for him, he’ll rarely use Lucian’s name if they’re speaking directly. It’s usually just “bhaalspawn,” “creature,” or something to that effect.

finally finished the draft for my fwb to lovers hawke/isabela fic 🥳 here’s hoping it won’t take me nine years to edit lol

dropping these snippets here and then i’m off to prep for the dnd session i’m running in an hour (the procrastination demons got me again, damn it)
"You look positively sinful." Isabela remarks, to which Hawke grins. "That's the third time you've said that tonight." "And I meant it each time." Isabela says with a wink. "I'm not one for fancy dresses myself, but on you? I could get used to the look." "For you, I might be tempted to switch up my wardrobe, I know mother would be thrilled at the change." Hawke laughs. "Alas floor length gowns are a tad bit impractical for all our perilous adventures." "Oh, I don't know." Isabela hums. "If we found you something that showed a little more skin, I'd wager it'd prove quite the distraction." "To you, perhaps." At the sound of Aveline's voice, Isabela bristles and turns to level a glare at the guard captain-honestly, she'd almost forgotten the woman had been standing right there. this default durge/wyll fic deserves some love! it delves into the aftermath of the “bad” endings for the main cast and the dark urge. i’ve only read the first chapter, but i already know it’s going to be one of my favorites. fantastic prose and characterization!
