Played (and loved) vanilla 5 on Switch. Have every intention of playing Vengeance.

I started with CoFlow, and I was a Def Jux obsessive after that. To me, as good as RTJ1 was, it definitely felt scaled back and less progressive than El’s solo stuff. RTJ2 and 3 felt to me like perfect balances of his solo production and the raw RTJ vibe.

Funny because I'm the opposite. I appreciate all four, but two and three are another level for me.

Have you listened to the audiobook of Based on a True Story? Hearing it in Norm’s voice is just the best.

Only thing is that it would be a full $100 price increase from the start of last gen (i.e. presumably the comparable non-OLED model), and Nintendo has never increased more than $50 from one gen to the next.

I think $350 falls in line with Nintendo’s usual pricing practices. It would be a $50 increase over Switch’s launch model; they’ve never hiked a console price more than that from gen to gen. I’m no expert, but it feels right.

Any chance that he is actually overseeing Mario Kart? With the likelihood of there being more crossover characters, who would Nintendo trust more to build stages / tracks that capture what makes those characters special?
