I recently started my cold weather veggie garden in Central Florida. Planted soybeans, potatoes, sugar peas, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, and lettuce, along with companion plants to protect and nourish them. So far, so good!

One of my rescue Chihuahuas is a lavender merle like Hazel! Mama was a tiny Chi, but I think Daddy was an Australian Shepherd.

Productive day in the kitchen! Chickpea burger ingredients for me, chickpea, oats, and veggies for the puppies, kimchi for the Onggi, and leftover blanched veggies for the freezer.

Someone claimed that FL is toxic, so I wanted to show my toxic neighborhood today. The guy with the truck and boat is a Trump supporter. During the last hurricane, the boat trailer broke under the boat, and he needed to find a way to lift it up, remove the old trailer, and replace it with a new one.
