4/? - I will never give up on them. I will always keep fighting for them. But it's hard. Guys, it's so fucking hard. It's hard to keep being optimistic when they need to be ready. When they need to get prepared. The reality right now, isn't allowing for optimism these days.

3/? - with the exception of the last one, these were not my choice to make. And how do I teach my students about this without breaking down? How do I look at my lgbtqia students, my students of color, my AFB students, without my heart breaking and being scared for their lives?

2/? - To see that everything that they did their best to avoid for me, may end up happening anyway, regardless of being American citizen, or being married to an American citizen. To be in danger because:
- I am a woman
- I am a birthright citizen
- I am bisexual
- I am a teacher

I'm not opposed to leather jackets, or leather vests. Even denim is ok. Just not those varsity looking ones. They are the mullets of outerwear. Business in the wool. Party in the leather. 1000% trying too hard to look cool.

So I hate, HATE, body horror and gore. But because of the way this show is approached, it doesn't register the same way for me at all. Maybe because it's looking at it from a science-ish (heavy on the ish) perspective. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Unless kids are involved as victims. Then, I'll cry.
