Apparently all of the "unusual" pronunciations in Persona 5 were actually given to the localizing team by ATLUS Japan. It could have been that they were trying to convey the concept of "flat tone" but it didn't quite come across.

I checked the other video. He was walking from right to left and STOPPED in front of her car right as she shifts out of reverse. If he had just kept walking he would have been completely clear.
It's about 2 seconds from her reverse lights going out to the first gunshot.

If he walked in front of her literally as she was shifting into forward gear then she likely didn't realize he was in front of her until it was too late.

Where did the shooter come from? I can see two guys come out of the truck to the left, but in all the video I've seen so far the guy with the gun just kinda appears in front of her vehicle and it's not clear where he was before that.

Trump and his cohort were smart to poison this by banging drums about prosecuting HRC and others. Now if the dems do it, they look like bad guys even if Trump's crimes are more egregious.

My brain is unfortunately wired to assume people are trying to gaslight, bully or take advantage of me, so having the real explanation given is often helpful.
