Though tbf the perk you're mentioning does seem to be more in line with a stat change so that could help with the handeling. I will say performing trick/drift chains in the beta does have a similar satisfaction to transformed so maybe that could round things out a bit more

Yeah ig that's also another factor of the game that isn't really appealing to me which is the perk modifiers, since some feel almost a necessity in order to play the game rather than optional modifiers. To me it does kinda make the "pick up and play" of a racing game a little more unappealing imo.-

yeah playing the beta just felt werid to me, like the cars were just kinda gliding in a way that feel super natural to me compared to transformed more weighted and faster feel. doesn't help either that i also find the game be slower then the other games but i hear the 200cc mode does improve things!

with items that don't just feel like a mario kart game.

It's funny since I do prefer crossworld's online features and future updates over mkw but the actual handling of the cars when playing beta just felt kinda...weightless to me? it's hard to pinpoint down but personally i still think I like transformed the most since it blends arcade handling-
