Something changed with them at the start of covid. They went from pushing up against the cap with several bad contracts under Botterill to literally firing everyone in their front office and going to an internal cap overnight.

Not to get too out there, but it's a bubble that will burst like 2008. Instead of toxic assets it's corps buying and holding single family homes. It's a pump & dump stock, they buy it all up to increase the value and then they sell it all off at the higher price, which ultimately kills the market.

In all honesty, the Chargers moving out of San Diego sucked at the time, but man Sundays are so much better now that I don't care about them.

Player for player, yes. But the way the roster is currently constructed I would rather have Mitts at 2C, Cozens at 3C and would have traded Savoie for a defender.

I think Kulich will do that. They can move McLeod to 2C and keep Kulich at 3C. I like the idea of

This is why I think GMKA has struggled to build a competitive NHL roster. Sometimes it's feels like he is trying to build an NHL24 roster where he is just looking at putting in players with the highest rating regardless of skill set.

It depends on if they still have an internal cap. Cap should go up significantly next season and the Sabres really only have JJ as a big dollar ticket to sign.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it this year :(, heading to Oregon this weekend and couldn't make it work out. I am going to see them in Tampa in March.
