Saw this on a different feed this morning, as it was posted by Spectrum Fantastic Art Live, and could not help but think that the NASA astronomers have been sitting on the name Apophis for years, and when they discovered just the RIGHT asteroid, someone got to name it and be the happiest nerd ever.

After being informed my car needed new brake rotors, and it would take another 1 to 1.5 hours to take care of, I opted for a ride home. Joyous silence is my companion now, and not the grating tones of yet another overdone Xmas song.
