A busy couple of days for the Amarean Guard, two very fun and close games (losses but that doesn't matter). Really enjoyed the games and the now almost finished battle force had a great time on the battlegrid.

The Amarean Guard took a thrashing once again, albeit curtailed by timings.
The mighty Deadlth Company Dreadnought was dragged down by a Warboss, Painboy and 20 helpers, while Lemartes smashed open a Battlewagon his own, only to reveal Ghazghkull and his 10 Power Klawed friends!
Lots of fun!

The Amarean Guard took a thrashing once again, albeit curtailed by timings.

In the end, a desperate reinforcement of the home objective by the Captain and his Terminators deleted the pesky Inceptors but with nothing else in range, they were relegated to standing still until it was all over!

Some heroics from Astorath and his retinue weren't enough to dislodge Lysander and his 2+++FNP or the slightly singed pack of 6 bladeguard that menaced the central objective. They did however eat the Redemptor that was towering over it so not all was lost!

The lane straight up the centre there was a fire zone held by lots of Fist flavoured firepower, Plasma (both hellblaster and redemptor types) and a ballistus meant that the fabled BA nobility was burnt to a crisp in the blue fire.

The Amarean Guard faced a heavy thrashing this weekend, some deployment mistakes and a strong (some might say fanatical) dedication to the narrative saw said mistakes reinforced throughout the following turns.

A close-fought battle, the doughty Amarean Guard failing to pack the fiesty Caledon Lions back onto their spaceships, but in turn, the Lions singularly failing to wipe the Guard off the dropzone before darkness fell (The shop closed lol).

The Amarean Guard went 1 for 2 this weekend, losing to a Gravis heavy Anvil Siege force and then coming put just on top of a Ork War Horde!

Finally lost by 8 points due to painting status. Brilliant Sunday Arvo Beerhammer type game. Certainly the Lost Brethren Detachment is pretty weak but playing all Death Company is quite fun!

The Amarean Guard (The Lost Brethren) had a great outing against the treacherous Iron Warriors! Despite killing the beautifully painted Abbadon The Despoiler in a cheeky Turn 1 charge, it mostly stayed on a knife edge for the rest of the game!

3 way 500pts match successfully completed. New White Dwarf rules were fun, although we didn't use all the deal-making and breaking strategems. Space Marines cleared the table, but only after the Orks killed off most of the Chaos Marines.
