Fun fact: The original DHTR was a shorse race. One year, Chris's shorse was injured so he ran it himself leading to the modern day ultra we all love.

Last week reminds me why I'm lucky that I get to run. Didn't take many pics (a little preoccupied with... you know). Need to remember to make sure I look around and keep finding comfort. Long runs on a Saturday morning or slow walks with Gary Carter The Dog, I will try to keep watching.

Altra Olympus 5. These things are beasts. I only had 15 miles in them before cracking out 47 miles during a race this past weekend. Not a single blister or hot spot.

My third Ghost Train race is in the books. RD is baller, volunteers are incredible and the vibe is top notch. Can't wait to go back again next year!
