Keep your fuzzy family members safe by being careful with their food & treats, and keep a sharp eye out for "counter-surfers" who might try to sneak a taste of the forbidden foods!

Also, please be mindful of your possible escape artist hounds, with guests arriving & opening doors more frequently.

Toxic or dangerous items include onions, chocolate, raisins & grapes, cooked bones, corncobs, caffeine, alcohol, nuts, items sweetened with xylitol, & more! And even a small amount of very fatty foods (fatty bacon, turkey skin, meat drippings, butter...) can trigger a dangerous bout of pancreatitis.

With your support, we will keep these beautiful ex-racers RUNNING to their loving forever homes here in Minnesota! Please consider adding GPA-MN to your charitable giving list. We and the hounds thank you! ❤️

Your donation also helps cover our everyday foster expenses: dog food, monthly heartworm, flea & tick preventatives, leashes, muzzles, collars, & MORE! We're an all-volunteer org using foster homes only, no kennel facilities to upkeep, so every dollar donated goes directly to support the greyhounds!

Penn arrived with a paw that had healed poorly from an accidental injury. We were able to provide Penn with a $6k ortho surgery, and with healing time and physical therapy, we're confident Penn will finally be able to "puppy" on all-fours again! This level of care couldn't happen without our donors!

Indy's cryptorchid, which means both testes failed to descend properly, instead remaining hidden in his abdomen. So his neuter procedure is difficult, requiring an ultrasound to locate, and abdominal surgery to safely remove the rogue testes before they become an increased risk of testicular cancer.
