It is very cute! Overall it is good. Depending on what kind of game you want you could design along those lines? Ex) if you want it to be more exploration, when you have the floating platforms you could have a secret path back the way you came that way the players know there is more of this latter.

I'm not positive, but it there a couple of phantom steps that are happening? After a step there is occasionally another step sound that plays?

I am not sure if it is just something on my end but I'm not getting any sound from the video.
