Id say the way they've talked and acted this past year has done nothing to inspire confidence they know what must be done if they gain power. They still have Dems regularly vote in line with the GOP.

My issue is accepting without negotiation. This does have an impact. How will this company pay for side walk maintenance and extension if needed? What is the cost reduction to be expected by eliminating human jobs? These are thing to be discussed and not just accepted

So how will this company pay for sidewalk repair/extension? With displaced workers, what cost reduction can i reasonably expect? The list goes on and yet, we just accept it with the same cost, now additional taxes, etc. and we're expected to just accept it.

I think the backlash is that this is the beginning. Without the people who are impacted (humans) at the table to get terms the new arrangement, you should say fuck you until your at the table to negotiate terms.
