Was able to get a few miles on the Haw River. Perfect weather. Beautiful trail conditions. The trail was closed at about a mile because of a building being demolished. An old factory that kids thought it would be fun to set on fire. Otherwise, and Beautiful Saunter with Dixie Pup ✌️💜🐾🥾

Today's hike was wonderful! Haw River State Park. Cindy at the front desk was a wealth of information. The trails are well maintained, blazed, and easily followed. Plenty of parking and dog friendly. A perfect place for a picnic can be found at one of the well placed tables that are throughout. ✌️💜🐾🥾
