Four full hours and finally got an answer. The person who took the call was very helpful and I got what I needed. SSA employees are awesome. Too bad there are so few of them.

If only it were true. Assuming anyone actually qualified for rapture it would solve so many problems ; housing crisis, probably have a positive effect on global warming, eliminate annoying door knocks from evangelicals, used car prices would come down, I don’t see any real downside…

As long as we can cut the federal taxes that cover the federal portion and pay that directly to the states…wouldn’t really like it but could support it.

Would be a real shame if those otherwise really nice people who collect scrap metal for recycling found all that steel down there on the border. Given the tariffs, the price of foreign steel is likely to go up.

I agree, most Americans are so furious and betrayed on their own behalf that there is little room to feel betrayal for countries that don’t have the gelatinous orange thug ruining their future. Oh wait, hang on… Now I can’t think of any.
