Oh man, sorry I missed this. There are lots of blends these days with rayon and nylon that have wonderful hand and elasticity. I also love a silk blend, since silk doesn't grow and keeps other fibers in check. I routinely stay away from anything full cotton.

The previous owners of our 1921 home did nothing to it as well. My current cursing though is for whoever painted the kitchen cabinets barn red and then whomever poorly painted over it. This kitchen facelift is a journey.
