Lucy was diagnosed with diabetes today. She is starting with a pill twice a day. If she doesn't improve, then she will go on insulin. The vet was hopeful she would respond to the medication.

There really is nothing like nature to provide entertainment. TV has nothing on blowing leaves, chipmunks, rabbits, squirrels.

I have chronic migraines and had an especially bad one (thought I had to go to the ER) on Wednesday. My BFF Grace never left my side. Pets are so under appreciated for their medical and counseling skills. Feel better soon.

My boy cat would jump from the top of the wardrobe to a shelf that was over my bed. He then would knock everything off the shelf onto the bed. Finally, he could enjoy watching TV. It’s their world.

I had a cat who also like to rearrange flowers. More as a testament to my poor flower arrangement skills, the flowers always look better after he finished. He was more strawberry blonde than orange, but maybe it’s an orange cat thing.

Happy 15th Birthday to Will! If you told me last year we would still have Will this year, I’d been surprised. Since his cancer diagnosis, he’s lost weight & has trouble breathing occasionally. Overall though, he’s still Will. He aggravates both girls routinely & is still feisty. I adore this boy.
