Thankful Thursday 🌱
A few of the last bits of color...it has been a glorious Autumnal display this year!
A pear tree with lots of immature round fruits has yellow and orange and a few green leaves that look like stained glass in the Autumnal sunshine. A magnificent fiery red japanese maple blooms against a bright blue sky. The last of the yellow leaves on the west side of a beech tree. The lake can be seen in the background.

The scan was TWO hours, plus over an hour drive each way...a bit of waiting room knitting was accomplished! 🧶 Sadly, no knitting in the scanner 🤪

The "holiday" cactus is blooming as all the stores are decorating for Xmas. The bloom is white with magenta edges and a yellow central stamen. It has green fleshy leaves.

I have finally figured out why nothing I planted in grow bags this year did well...sigh.

All the tender plants are inside, the heat strips are turned on to protect the pipes from freezing...I think I'm as ready as I can be for the predicted freeze tonight 🤞🏻It is still so lovely outside right now!
