🌱 Key results:
1️⃣ Higher prevalence of HPs consumption compared to other European countries.
2️⃣ Most frequently used products: ginger, chamomile, thyme, rooibos, cranberry, and raspberry leaf.
3️⃣ No specific profile defining HPs users: any woman could potentially use them during this critical period.

🔎 Our findings reveal beneficial effects of melatonin in growth-restricted fetuses, but also something unexpected and highly relevant from a toxicological perspective: in healthy fetuses, melatonin exposure showed potential adverse effects.
