The last episode was short and sweet. It really did feel like a goodbye to old friends. To see a show that let me be proud of being a person of colour end is upsetting, but we can always stay just a little longer.

First blush, I think it's sweet that they focus on Bernard's perspective too when it comes to leaving for college. It's nice to see the changes that everyone underwent, not just the main three.

The themes of being able to be who you are no matter what were so important in my self-acceptance, and it was the first time I had seen so many people like me represented in a show. It was also interesting to see so many family dynamics represented in a mainstream show.
