Day 31: …RUN! Well, would you look at that? Thirty days of fun, short-form vore writing, complete! Voretober was a lot of fun this year, even despite my gripes with some of the prompts (though as I wrote I found that even the weirder prompts made some good ideas!). I definitely wanna do Voretober again nexy year, even though I’m always swamped with college work during October. Writing reinforces my habit of staying up too late something fierce, too — I feel most comfortable writing when it’s nice and dark. High temperatures and wetness would probably throw me off my game though, so writing inside a friend is out. Maybe next year I’ll make my own prompt set for people to share! It seems like a lot of fun to try and pick out good words that strike a balance of being both applicable to vore and being able to be taken in multiple different ways. I wonder how popular that would get… I wonder if it would get more eyes on my writing? Speaking of writing, Voretober has been invaluable for keeping my writing muscles sharp. It felt really good to write at least a little bit every day (even if it didn’t get as much attention as I wished it would), and it really helped me stay confident with my writing skills. Writing a lot of the prompts was also super fun! I think my favorite stories were probably the ones from heart, carnival, push, entanglement, causality, modest, spice, and gutter. Overall, I’m really happy that I was able to keep up, even with my— “HEY! THAT’S THE GUY WHO UPLOADED ALL HIS VORETOBER STORIES A DAY LATE! Day 25: IDLE Fun fact: I’ve actually been thinking about the idea for a vore idle game for a while. Less-than-fun fact: I lack the skills to make a proper vore idle game. Muffled, but audible over what sounded like intensely sloshing liquid. Had N4 fallen in a body of water? But there were none near— GRRRRWWWWWLLLLLRRRRR. The distinct sound of a growling stomach came through the walkie-talkie. The mender nearly dropped his receiver. No, it couldn’t be, there’s no— “My poor stomach…” The muffled voice came again. Thick, bubbling liquid sloshed in a poorly-kept rhythm. “Feels like there’s… something stuck in there…” Now, the mender was too shocked for his hands to release the receiver. All he could hear were the unmistakable sounds of bubbling, churning digestion on the other end of the walkie-talkie. “Oh cogs, no…” was all he could whisper out before he went limp, color vacating his face as fast as the walkie-talkie hit the ground beside him. The voice came again, unmistakable past the sounds of N team being processed. “Fascists always give me stomach aches…”

Day 21: SOGGY Sam let out a grunt as he squeezed through the valve separating the esophagus from the stomach. The tiny bori landed with a wet plop in the pit of the gut, finding himself up to his waist in a thick, cloying slime. While his butterfly-like wings were too weighed down to let him fly, their inherent faerie magic still did something inside Zeke’s stomach: they lit it up. Every single surface of the stomach was coated in a thick, ever-so-slightly cloudy slime that made the entire gut glossy. Where the goop pooled in excess and couldn’t hold itself to the gut walls, it flowed down in irregular trickles and gloppy, ephemeral ribbons bridging two spots on the stomach walls that the peristalsis briefly squished together. Each roll of the gut stirred the slime pool Sam was soaking in, the rippling waves seeping into his fur and giving his shell a coat almost as glossy as the stomach walls. He felt ten pounds heavier as the gut slime layered itself on its body, dripping from the ceiling and pooling at the bottom of the stomach. Sam figured the viscous pool actually helped him stand up — if he didn’t have it holding his legs in place, he would be slipping every thirty seconds. With a distinct, bassy gurgle, the stomach walls began secreting stomach acid. The slime became tinged a sickly yellow-green as the digestive enzymes began to flow in response to their meal. Sam sighed and leaned against a fleshy fold, feeling it churn against his arm. “I knew zafaras were adventurous with their food choices… but this is ridiculous!”

Day 20: SLEEP Leo shifted over to look at the clock. 3:31 A.M.. He didn’t usually wake up this early. “Hey, babe…?” The rabbit said, looking over at his dragon boyfriend. It was a miracle Leo could share a bed with his beloved Verne, with the dragon being twice his size. “Do you need something? It felt like you might have shook me awake…” Leo looked at Verne for a while, simply watching the dragon in his sleep. Gosh, he really was head over heels for him. As he watched, it looked like he was… chewing on something. Luckily, not the pillow this time, but he was definitely dreaming about eating, if Leo had to guess. It was kind of cute. Leo leaned in to give Verne a light pet on the snout, which he always loved, only to touch… nothing. Though his arm was suddenly much warmer. As his sleepy eyes came into focus, he realized his entire forearm was inside Verne’s hot, slobbery maw just in time for it to close. “Agh, babe!” Leo tugged at his arm in a futile attempt to pull it out, only for Verne’s mouth to open once again and take his other arm inside. “You’re eating me! C’mon, wake up—” Leo locked eyes with Verne, the dragon’s still utterly closed. *Oh, but he looks so happy like this…* Leo glanced at the clock again. Saturday, 3:31 A.M.. “…Okay, fine, you can have me… just make sure to let me out in the morning, honey.” Verne sucked on Leo’s arms, pulling his head and shoulders inside his mouth. *Maybe I’ll be able to go back to sleep once I’m in his stomach…*

Day 19: OXYMORON Flux sauntered into the quiet of the mending study, seemingly unaffected by the massive, gravid stomach bulge sticking out from under his airy robes. He gently pet the easily visible head of his occupant, cooing quietly to them as they slightly squirmed. Quiet, muffled gurgles filled the room as he entered, drawing the eyes of a couple other menders, including Shyft, who meandered over to Flux and placed a hand on his gut. “So… who’s inside?” Flux flashed a small smile before chuckling warmly. “Oh, him? Don’t you recognize Breech, Shyft?” “No way! I didn’t think any of the Mortafires were…” “Good little prey-things who act all tough but are just big softies inside who enjoy spending time inside the stomach of a cute little mender? Breech certainly is… isn’t that right~?” The massive bulge inside Flux’s gut squirmed slightly as Flux nuzzled the snout bulge. Under Flux’s fur and fat, Shyft could make out the thick, toned muscles of one of the strongest and most experienced Mortafire demolitionists on Cradle, sitting contently inside a stomach. He could hardly believe it, even though he certainly enjoyed looking at it! He rubbled gently over Flux’s taut stomach, leaning in to make sure Breech could feel his touch. He was jealous, of course, but not enough to ask to be let inside — he figured Breech wanted some quiet time. “Uh… I dunno if you like being told this sort of thing, Breech, but…” Shyft whispered, “You look really cute in there…!” The giant bulge wriggled happily. Inside Flux, the half-asleep Mortafire was blushing bright red. He was just happy that Flux was willing to humor his little peculiarity.

Day 18: STOP “This is the Specialty Late-Night Living Express line to: Gardenia Center. The next stop is: T.S.C. Drammen.” The tinny, automated voice of the PA was unusually audible to what few passengers were inside the train car, the usual bustle of the subways sprawling from Watson City quieted by the late night… though, the nature of the train certainly helped as well. Instead of the usual bioplastic and metal, the inside of the Specialty Living Express line’s cars were a squishy, padded, rubbery material that always felt a little wet to the touch. The passengers, what few there were, were riding in the stomach of a living, anthopomorphized train whose body served perfectly to carry passengers like a real train, and whose personality made it exceptionally clear that it loved doing this. Every so often, the passengers, who were either standing up or sprawled out on the squishy floor, could hear the deep, rumbling coos of the living train as it rolled from station to station, either delighting in being useful or in the feeling of having passengers inside of it.

Day 17: FUSION “…and you’re sure this is safe, dr. Ryde?” Dr. Spotson gestured at the massive, dusty-rose colored, scraggly-furred, feral-looking beast with massive fangs in front of them, sitting on the ground and playing with its tail. “I mean, combining two super animals like that has never been done before! How will we even get them apart again?” The midnight-colored fennec fox shushed the labrador without taking his eyes off of what he dubbed a ‘were-skullcat.’ “Don’t worry about that!” Dr. Ryde said, not taking his eyes off of the beast, “Hello there! I assume this feels strange, but try and bear with us! This is a breakthrough in genetic science and a massive insight into how we super animals—” “Um…” The were-skullcat’s voice boomed through the testing room, accidentally much too loud. “Could it be a breakthrough in getting food? I— we— uh… yeah, we’re starving.” “Food can wait for a while,” Dr Ryde said, “I’m sure you can put up with a little hunger pang or two while we run some preliminary tests, can’t you, Dantali— no, wait, Marnie— um… you two.” “Well… we don’t want to wait.” Suddenly, the blank look on the gigantic fusion’s face wasn’t as charming as it was before. It purple eyes shone with hunger as it stared down at the two scientists. “The Marnie half of us is complaining a lot.” “…well, Dantalion side, tell him to be quiet for a moment. We’re really trying to— URK?!” Dr. Ryde was cut off as the were-skullcat scooped him and Dr. Spotson up in each hand, giving them another blank, animalistic stare. “I could eat you.” “Well, yes, Marnalion, you could, but—” Dr. Ryde went silent as the were-skullcat tossed him and Dr. Spotson past their maw and down their esophagus in a single motion, a wave of shockingly strong muscle sending them splashing down into the vacant stomach before they could even react. “Oh, that’s much better! I feel so full now…” Inside the stomach, Dr. Ryde righted himself and pulled his head out from under the acids, briefly squishing Dr. Spotson under the bubbling surface as he did. He slipped on his goggles with a smile. “How interesting… look, Spotson! While the fur colors of the constituent super animals were mixed, the inner flesh is mottled between the two colors!” “That’s wonderful, Ryde,” Dr. Spotson said, “Now what do you suggest we do now…?” “A live examination of the were-skullcat’s digestive processes is quite the opportunity! Do you have anything to take notes on?” “Ryde?” “Yes, Dr. Spotson?” “I hate you.

Day 16: MODEST Marnie followed faithfully behind Dantalion as the larger, brighter-colored skullcat led him not too far away from the Howl-o-ween festivities. Their fur tones almost matched, Marnie’s lavender a more subdued companion to Dantalion’s bubblegum pink. Even more pink, however, was the blush on Marnie’s face. Of all the super animals to enjoy, that Dantalion was popular enough with to take his pick of any of them… “…why me?” Marnie asked, half-whispering as he pulled his oversized hoodie off, “I-it’s not like I’m very fat, or particularly good-looking, or t-taste that good… How could I b-be worthy of you? Wouldn’t you rather have S-Stolas, or Adis, o-or any of the rest of the seventy-two?” “Awww~!” Dantalion cooed as he pulled Marnie close, feeling up the smaller skullcat’s body and sniffing his neck. “Don’t be so modest! You might not be as skilled as the seventy-two, but you’re one of the cutest, sweetest, and tastiest skullcats I know… and you smell great, too!” Dantalion undid Marnie’ bra with one hand and yanked it off with the other, lightly fondling Marnie’s soft boytits. “Y-you really think so…?” Marnie avoided eye contact as he spoke, his tail curling around himself and resting on his lap. “I-I mean, I just don’t think I’m—” Dantalion put a finger to Marnie’s lips. “I mean it, Marnie,” Dantalion said, “You’re going to make such a good little preyboy for me tonight~”
