(For clarity, Jessica Tisch, the former (and new) police commissionar of NY said "it is not a political issue", not Mamdani.
Mamdani thinks Tisch just is the right pick for the Job.)

How many people who celebrated Mamdani as a real life hero, will talk about this?
How many of the same people will defend it as "nessecary"?

And always the notion that "we need a system, even an anarchic system is a system", this also breaks me every time.
People communicate with each other, they would still do this if there are no kings giving their ok. People communicating to do/achieve things is not a system of power.

The horror scenario that people make up about an anarchic society, that fascists rise to power, is in reality the horror of the the society we live in right now.
And we fucking know how to stop it.
Stop fucking defending the systems of power that enable fascists like Trump.

And this is exaxtly what we do now, what we are trying to communicate as anarchists.
We don't need to prevent Trump or Putin, they are already in power.
Do people really do not see the implications of this?

No system of power.
You are asking me to define the absence of something, that isn't possible.
There should be no system of power.
Is this hard to achieve? Oh yes, because we need to understand what hierarchies and systems of power are, and then overcome them.
Welcome to the anarchist struggle.

Yeah...
Like not having a system of power that enables fascists like Trump to do what they do.

Sorry that I repeated so often, that the state essentially plans what people can and can not do.
Most people think this is good. It isn't.
Waiting for the state to give the nessecary funds to pay for solar panels on every roof, means waiting indefenitely.
People could just you know... do it

Without the state, people could just do things. Without a state or capitalists intervening.
So the real thing here is, that the state prevents action, without a state doing that, people could effectively combat the climate catastrophy or built spaces for survivors of abuse.

The state controls in large the economy, which industries are allowed to exist and which are not. Capitalism is a planned economy.
(I am not arguing here foe a free market by the way, I argue for a world without hierarchies, money produces hierarchies, so no money in that world)

(At least here in germany) There are laws that control what people can and can not put on their roofs, and what they can do with it.
The state is a manager of capital, and a manager of the economy, like a lot of people with a lot of capital.

The state prevents action. Capital, and managers of capital which the state is also, make sure that people can not just do things, like putting solar panels on their roofs, using geothermal energy to heat or other less ressource intense ways of energy production.
