Really putting us on the spot having to pick just one. But I think it's this little scamp, just for how many funny little scenes the discord has made with him.

Though ask my again tomorrow, I might change my answer to Walter or Daiyu. Maybe Fernando. Just saying, there's a lot of good ones.

You remember Kasumi. A ninja who fights with one of three swords to fit the occasion, utilizing subtrefuge, shinobi tools, poison and speed to keep her enemies off-balance before closing in for the killing blow. A rushdown with weaker ranged options meant for harrasment and to make an opening.

Finished Donkey Kong Banaza main game. Solid game, might be GOTY contender for the time being. Pauline was a joy and the platforming mechanics along with the destructible terrain made for great time.

Also, Breaking Through was the perfect way to end the game.

You see this, quote with a title screen that's iconic to you

If you see this, quote with a robot that ISN'T from "Star Wars", "Star Trek", "Dr. Who", or "Transformers."

OC Lore train 😈 explain your OC's lore in the worst way possible

The last heir of her noble house who saw her entire clan murdered. She is now a vengeance-seeking assassin with red eyes and white hair. Also she uses the universes greatest weapon: a katana.

He is the second greatest conman in all of Erellon, Darin Telshid: a man with a hundred plans, a thousand faces and names, and one apprentice who is totally not his adoptive son, don't even try to claim that. He only does things for his own ends, not to correct the crap he went through as a kid.

Post a ship that's not Star Wars or Star Trek

This time let's put up the cunning changeling conman of canticles, Darin Telshid.

The Roottrees Are Dead (2025)

A really pleasant surprise for my first game of this year. A deductive puzzler very much in the vein of Return of the Obra Dinn or Her Story. Though it may sometimes require you to use the hint system. Some pieces of info are mentioned once in one place so easy to miss

Got The Roottrees Are Dead last evening. Getting really into it, thinking I'll just play a little bit before I find its 0:30 on a work night.

Great little detective game, reminecent of Return of the Obra Dinn.

Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)

Decently good. The human characters weren't as bad and distracting as they usually could be. Usually not that into bringing these things to reality, but they made it work. Sonic has some basis in that with Adventure-era.

And like everyone I loved Jim Carrey's Robotnik.

Nine Sols (2024 game)

An excellent soulslike-platformer. Tight combat and great story. Especially loved watching Yi and Shuanshuan's relationship and development.

Some later bosses did overtune the difficulty a little, goingfrom engaging to frustrating. Still top 5 personal games of last year.

Congratulations on the milestone. I would have mine for Kasumi if I win.

If you see this, post four of your favorite characters from four different series! Pass it on!

Kasuga Ichiban, from Yakuza
Osamu Mikumo, from World Trigger
Eliot Spencer, from Leverage
Thorfinn, from Vinland Saga
December 3, 2024 at 8:23 PM
The entire ending of Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

Having to see Ichiban pour his heart out in a desperate bid to save the man he considers brother, then a brief glimpse of hope, only for it to be taken away.

At least the post-credits scene makes it more hopeful.

Congrats on the 400.

Dunno if I'd pick the changeling conman Darin Telshid or the snake-clan ninja Kasumi Raion, so gonna post both and decide if I happen to get lucky enough to win.

The Groke from Moomin. This thing terrified me as a kid with its low, guttural growl, the dark shadows it seemed to always have and how it froze everything around it by simply being near it or touch.
June 13, 2024 at 7:07 AM
Only one who comes to mind is Fernand from FE: Echoes.

Though unfortunately unless you get the DLC, his reason for betraying the heroes is that he doesn't see how totally amazing Alm is and thinks it's crazy to hand the leadership to a farmboy with no experience or qualifictions.

Not sure if you're meant to enter here too or in just one, but just to be safe I'll do both.

Show me your Tabletop Characters!

Hyuse Garda, human paladin, Oath of Redemption. Former military captain turned paladin of Shia, the goddess of mercy and redemption. (only knew artist via discord and it was a long while ago.)
