He was a nice lad who didn’t take advantage, and he was confident, not cocky, but like you I wondered how it must be to breeze through life so easily, with everyone seemingly giving you everything you want. I worry about what happens when the looks fade though.

I employed a guy once who was objectively attractive, and it never failed to amaze me how doors just opened for him all the time. Women adored him, gay men too, and straight men either wanted to be him, or have his popularity rub off on them somehow.

I too was raised on a diet of 70s/80s/90s horror, but these films are just rubbish. No plot whatsoever, beyond what’s necessary to string a series of hideous torture-porn scenes together. There’s something very mean-spirited and vicious about them. They remind me of the (awful) bro-horror era.

Until a few years ago there was a Heidi bar in Lisbon, with hay bales for seats and collectible Heidi memorabilia everywhere in glass cases around the walls. It was somehow - and completely counter-intuitively - a genuinely really cool place with excellent music and incredibly cheap cocktails!

Bit late now... 🤷

I completely agree - terrible acting. Couldn't get past the fact that he sounded EXACTLY like Jeremy Clarkson either.

Shame, because otherwise the series has been brilliant, and genuinely chilling. (I had to keep reminding myself throughout that it was "probably" fictitious.)

Is that Jonathan Van Ness dancing on the beach there?

DO IT. You don’t want to miss out on the great Jennifer Coolidge seasons!

It’s definitely worth starting from S1. Although they’re (in theory at least) standalone seasons, there’s an overarching plot between 1 & 2 which looks like it’s continuing into 3, so seeing the whole story would definitely enrich the experience (and they’re really good!!!)

Loved the “Greg” reveal, and the slow apocalyptic build-up of Carrie Coon’s toxic friendship circle. Belinda’s recognition of Greg in last night’s ep guaranteed to yield some delicious fruit too!

Utterly vacuous right-wing shill just saw which way the wind was blowing… 🤷‍♂️
