Today I did not go to the studio. I visited an elementary school in the Philly burbs and read to kids aged K-6th grade. This photo was taken by a 2nd grader 🙂

Not at the studio today, just spending time with family. We went to the library and saw one of our favorites - No Fits, Nilson! by Zach Ohora. A beautiful, funny book.

Today at the studio I am celebrating this starred review from @slj.com of my new early reader! This is the first book in a series and I am so excited for emerging readers to meet EARL & WORM!

Today in the studio I am working through copy edits of the third Earl and Worm book. I turned in the art a few weeks ago and then CE got back to me with notes and questions - mostly regarding consistency. Copy editors have saved me from making many, many mistakes in print! #kidlit

I’m in the studio today but mostly just cleaning up and hanging with the kids. Their favorite thing about my studio is the projector I installed during lockdown.
