After this week’s lads holiday in sunny Spain, I’m in need of a rest, but more importantly, another holiday…

Morning all. Happy Caturday to our Miss Mabel. Currently hidden under a blanket, one of her favourite places, especially during firework season. Monty on the other hand is Mr chilled as long as he has his toy elephant that he’s had since a kitten - it’s manky as hell but he loves it

Lunchtime view from the office grounds. Time to decompress and get energised for an afternoon of Teams calls - yay 😒

Just had a lovely little break in St Ives with plenty of fresh air and cocktails with the delightful Brian. Thank you, that was just what I needed

Soo many sexy leathermen out in Manchester last night with @jnadin91.bsky.social
That smell like my dads old sports car hit the senses the second we walked into the Eagle 😍😝

Still feeling mentally knackered (not a medical term) but found a quiet spot near Broadway, Cotswolds for some peace. Plus chewing the cud with this handsome young fella

Spot the old lady having the time of her life at the Rutland Flower Show. I want that for me if I make it that long

Exploring edges of a deep hole with @shinyperson.bsky.social and @bluefox42.bsky.social. One of the seven wonders of the Peak District evidently. Eldon Hole. Insert joke about @jnadin91.bsky.social as you see fit 🤭😘

A gentle stroll through Leicestershire countryside from Groby Pool to Newtown Linford and back has helped recharge the mental batteries. And then there was cake as a reward

Lovely afternoon walking our version of the Tramway Trail (shown in pink) around the Calke Abbey estate with @youcancallmemrp.bsky.social and rewarding ourselves with cake of course.
Sorry was too busy chatting to take any scenic pics 🤭

After an 8 mile hike around the Vale of Belvoir, I think I deserve some light refreshment in the Dirty Duck

Love my newly acquired painting by local artist Nigel Smith. Been a huge admirer of his work, so after talking to him at this year’s Arthouse Exhibition in Leicester, I decided to commission a piece in memory of my mum who passed away recently.

Love the beach vibe here in Rivera Bay, Malta

Checked out from hi-tech, glitzy hotel in Paceville ‘St Julian’s’ and checked into calm quiet townhouse in Sliema as needed some sleep and way too old to hang out with teenage clubbers screaming n shouting all night and then get woken by builders. Warning: Malta has 2 very different vibes

Tomorrow we say a final farewell to my mum.
Two weeks ago the harsh reality of adding ‘do not resusitate’ to her medical notes meant it was a shock, but at least she passed quickly and with dignity from heart failure rather than enduring what her Alzheimer’s had in store 💔

We’re ready for you Ms Minogue 🤩🥳

Northumberland nomads, group photo of the lads from last night in Cragside.
Today have done Wallington Hall and Whitley Bay as we make our way back down south - well to the Midlands anyway
