Just increase the payroll tax by .1% a year per year. It should be in balance in about 8 years. I think it is dishonest to tie SS with the federal budget's deficit and debt - SS has its own dedicated payroll tax.

Very uninformed argument. How is SS a Ponzi scheme? Are retirees going to start living forever or are the number of American workers who pay the payroll tax going to 0? A simple correction now like raising the payroll tax by .1% a year for maybe 15 years can fix it for the next 75 years.

On 27 February 2023, the Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro announced that the US Navy would rename U.S.S. Chancellorsville after Robert Smalls, a slave who commandeered the Confederate ship CSS Planter in 1862. The name change was made effective on 1 March 2023.
