Today the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta released a forecast for Jan-March 2025 indicating their experts believe the U.S. economy will shrink by 1.5 percent. Previously they forecasted 2.3-percent growth buff.ly/3CSDWOO

Quite a bit on the schedule of the MO House Emerging Issues Commitee today, w/ bills by half a dozen Ozarks & southern Missouri lawmakers. The Ozarks does not have much in the way of reporters stationed in Jeff City, so I'll be watching for coverage from I-70 corridor newsrooms

This is new and different for me as a country journalist, as I don't recall this ever happening with Bush 43, Obama, Trump 1 or Biden administrations: Trump's comms office is emailing numerous press releases almost hourly, including "pool reports" from the White House
