The AFL-CIO nationwide bus tour visited Croton-on-Hudson, N,Y., Monday. It’s theme: “It’s Better in a Union: Fighting for Freedom, Fairness and Security.” Participants supported fair wages, healthcare, Medicaid, Social Security. They denounced Trump’s budget cuts and GOP NY Rep Lawler.

Activists gathered Monday in Peekskill, N.Y., in solidarity with an immigrant mother, identified s Amy, who has decided to self-deport with her children. She was arrested by ICE and was given an ultimatum: self-deport or be sent to a detention center. Amy’s husband is in hiding.
