He can definitely play a box-to-box role but I seem to remember him playing more as a 6, which is where I prefer him. What he said about tempo is bang on though, quick to get on the dribble or make a pass when he receives the ball - keeps it moving really well.

I've watched Olguin some at TFC2 - Wanderers fans will like him a lot.

BIG player to bring back. This kid could be the best defender in the CPL this year, he was that good for us after coming in last season.

There are plenty of examples of this at TFC but Nelson is not one of them. He was playing regularly before he left. He told the team he wanted to try his luck in Europe and they accommodated that request.

Pretty good way to get your U21 minutes. Pearlman is solid, HFX fans will like him.

I disagree. By no means did TFC dominate this game but judging by the eye test and pretty much every other metric, they were the better team overall - outside of a dreadful first 20 minutes or so.

The chance creation was especially promising. Just need to tighten up some of those mistakes in our defensive third. TFC might surprise some people this year, including their own fans.

A lot of people saying we’re worse than last year - we are not. Not a whole lot better but we are better. Think we’ll be fighting for a playoff spot again.

His highlight reel looks good. Hopeful his game will translate well to MLS. If you think about how many sitters Prince missed last year, someone who can finish their chances would actually make a huge difference. Staying the obvious, but it’s true.

That’s the question. Can’t remember where I saw it now but someone suggested if it was a higher number, we’ll use your example of 85%, why wouldn’t they have just gone the extra 15%? Which might suggest it’s a lower number. Just a theory.
