Yeah, I’m pretty sure this isn’t a thing.

What articles?

I’m not defending the article, but he does discuss the Kirk-related firings.

I was watching WKRP In Cincinnati. It was early evening in Hawaii, where I lived.

Why are numbers necessarily distinct from the truth?

How do you still have leftovers? Did you have an 85-pound turkey for two people or something?

I don’t know enough about all of this to give a good answer, but I wish I knew.

Do I think inflation-adjusted wages rising at a somewhat slower rate than in the recent past hits households hard? My guess is that for most it does not. But that’s not really the point, which is that this particular graph is a weak argument for the existence of an affordability crisis
December 5, 2025 at 2:55 AM
I’m not saying there isn’t an “affordability crisis,” but how is that demonstrated by a graph that shows real wages increasing?

Sounds good to me!

This makes me miss New York.

How do we know that’s not just a dog’s head placed on top of the couch?

I lived in Brooklyn for about 25 years. I think it’s great. But I find it strange that you think it’s on everyone’s wishlist as a place to live.
November 26, 2025 at 11:23 PM
The point is that the coasts aren’t the only places with high demand.

“The idea that if Brooklyn rents were at Dallas or Houston levels anyone would still choose Dallas or Houston over Brooklyn is kind of insane.”
November 26, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Also, Honolulu is 4th on the list of highest median house prices, one ahead of Brooklyn, Lake Havasu, AZ, is ahead DC, San Diego, and Seattle, etc.
November 26, 2025 at 8:48 PM
So because demand is highest in these areas, that means everyone wants to live there? Does that really make sense to you?
November 26, 2025 at 8:43 PM
Yes, they clearly do. Why do you think everyone wants to live in New York?
November 26, 2025 at 5:11 PM
Dallas is the fastest growing metro area in the country. Houston is, I think, a close second. There’s no zoning laws in Houston, so the city is free to sprawl, creating more housing. NYC cant expand.
November 26, 2025 at 6:07 AM
And yet, Dallas (the fastest growing metro area in the country) and Houston (not far behind) have plenty of wealthy people who could afford to live in Brooklyn if they wanted to.

She’s just trolling. And not very well. I suggest disengaging.
November 25, 2025 at 5:15 PM
Yeah, I agree. What’s up with that?

He’s never had a “real job” because he’s never (you assume) experienced any of a litany of misfortunes. Great deductive work!
