I'm upbeat about EV sales. But... The average car is now older (by about 16%) than in 2019. There are 33 million cars in the fleet and WHEN we are selling 100% as EVs IF we carry on with current sales, that would replace 2 million a year. Ok, new cars drive more miles but there are 2 trends to watch

4. Is this individual well being claims? The debate is about net impacts of car dependency for society

Seems like government keener on investing to meet it's baseline traffic growth assumptions than on the commitments it has to make for its climate goals.
