I had an assignment in middle school (in the 90s) to talk to someone who lived through the Great Depression. I interviewed my grandmother who only gave me one word answers. I couldn't get any actual stories out of her (despite my dad helping).
My report was basically "the Great Depression was hard."

I never called in, but Tom was talking about creating a Best Show Cruise and Chris Gethard read my tweet suggesting a no-dudes day, where all dudes would be confined to the life rafts. It's been like a decade since then and I'm still debating whether to put it on my resume.
