Heck yeah! String changes and cleanup was the most of what I did for years. I only started doing more out of necessity. You don’t have to wish. Lots of good tutorial videos out there. And, Trial and error in small amounts on truss rods and intonation won’t do anything you (or your tech) can’t undo.
