I'm not sure he should come back even if we take EL. Been rooting for him, but he doesn't have injuries as an excuse now. I just don't think his system works at this level and it likely contributed to the injuries to boot.

i agree with your take and think above all else progressives--and really Dems writ large--need to be truth tellers, speaking clearly on both race and class, and taking actions that support advancement on both fronts. this either/or infighting is backwards thinking and ruinous.
