Well I’m saying my pov as someone almost 30 and in grad school how i use it

I think it’s cool what it CAN do, but maybe I’m biased too because I was a literature major. Sometimes the writing it does is good, sometimes I’m like no I want this in my voice. Also I think if students are just asking it for answers and pasting directly, that’s plagiarism

Last thing, there are smart people I know who use chat. It’s just another tool, but not a brain replacement for everything

It’s the new thing to say “kids these days” about. I think some of the best uses of chat gpt is using it like Google but you can get very tailored responses and it’s memory bank of what it knows about you helps you get information to assist with what you’re doing. It’s not entirely a cheat code 🤷🏾‍♂️

You could use chat gpt and still study. Chat gpt can be used to brainstorm ideas or refine something you’ve already written. Chat gpt can write things but you have to discern with your brain what’s useable and what’s not.

I find a lot of the AI apprehension similar to early internet in general.
