Ann Pudeator was a twice-widowed, single woman of means who often cared for the sick. Yet it was these seemingly ordinary traits that likely led to her conviction as a witch in 1692.

I’ve produced more than 30 episodes of The Salem Witch Trials Podcast and Mary Easty was one of the most courageous women involved. She wrote petitions that exposed the witch hunt for the massive miscarriage of justice that it was.
