3/3 … giving them an almost ridiculously ham-fisted grift to “stand up to you” about (which, when you concede it was a bad idea, will cost you Absoltuely Nothing) in order to shore up their own support would be a pretty good one. Just sayin’.

2/3 … if you were getting a ton of flak and concerned feedback from your cadre of callow, bootlicking sycophants that their constituents and fans were beginning to turn on them due to their obvious, blatant abdication of responsibility to the Constitution and truly astonishing lack of backbone …

Note that the rest of the cast is excellent, and it’s a very well written show. Highest recommendation.
