I typically start with those 3 words: BEACH, WRIST, YOUNG.
What's particular about those three words is that no letters repeat and it contains all the vowels. This allows you to make the most of your guesses. And if you look carefully at the words, you will realize I found it easily this morning.

Given that Bluesky uses a butterfly as logo, maybe we could call it a "flutter." I like it but I don't think it will catch on though.

Woof back to you! And congratulations!

Is this another typical case of people talking past each other? One side says that the renaissance saw a renewal of appreciation of the arts and the other says wars happened then too. A bit like two sides arguing about a glass half full or half empty?Very similar to the "Rome didn't fall" narrative?

Well, I am not an expert by any means but is it not very common to see illustrations in medieval manuscripts which don't relate to the text? I am thinking about knight riding snails, anthropomorphic rabbits hunting and creatures with faces where a bum should be (you know the one).

If you like Dimash, I suggest you check out "Lara Fabian." Dimash is a fan of hers, his inspiration to start singing. And she has an incredible voice. She has many songs like "broken vow" and "Adagio." Easy to find on youtube.

Maybe there should be a webpage somewhere titled "requirements of an actual solution." Would this cut on the submissions? One can hope.

Do all of those "solutions" never include what the Voynich actually says? Maybe somebody ought to tell them that to count as a solution, you should have at minimum one full page of text translated with a clearly explained technique consistently applied to your entire translation.

Ok so when I solve the Voynich, I won't tell you. lol

What's your opinion of the Bechdel test? Is it a useful metric or pseudo-scientific nonsense?

I remember seeing an ad for Google Chrome while browsing with Google Chrome and then I thought: "so much for all their metrics."
