Happy Easter, y'all.

Because it's true and accurate.

Sadly, all too accurate. This censorship of Ann Talnaes cartoon should anger everyone. The abject cowardice of these people, like Bezos, Disney, ect., is appalling.

I've been saying this in various threads. This is the Superman I want to see. Definitely I want more of a Reeve-vibe, not Snyder-dark. A hope-filled hero in the light, not the darkness. This is my Superman, really looking forward to seeing this. In these times, this is the Superman we need.

Wanted to share this write-up I did a while back for the excellent 1981 TV movie, Skokie. Based on true events, a holocaust survivor takes a stand against a Neo-Nazi march, in Skokie, Illinois in 1977. It is highly recommended. www.facebook.com/greg.espinoz...

Okay. Got my Christmas haircut.

Here's a write-up I did for Puss And Boots: The Last Wish. I viewed this film sometime after it came out and quite enjoyed it, even more so than the first Puss And Boots film. Solid story and Banderas was born to play Puss. Check it out. www.facebook.com/greg.espinoz...

In 2015, I created art for a Wizard Of Oz-themed Tarot deck, Shadow Of Oz, by Illogical Associates. I still have some of the original B&W art for sale on eBay. If interested, message me or check out the eBay links. Links in the comments. As Wicked is pretty hot right now, thought I'd remind people.

My pal, Shepherd Hendrix, recently turned me on to this comic by Argentinian writer, Hector German Osterheld, The Eternaut, which is coming up on Netflix as a live-action adaptation. Please check out my write-up.

Underwater came out in 2020 and sank with little fanfare, but appears to be undergoing a critical reassessment. The film starred Kristen Stewart doing battle with deep sea creatures in a damaged undersea mining facility. Please check out my write-up.

Let's remember that Woody Guthrie had "This machine kills fascists" written on his guitar.

Director Takashi Yamazaki is now celebrated for his excellent Godzilla Minus One. Here's a write-up I did for his earlier, entertaining 2002 sci-fi film, Returner. www.facebook.com/greg.espinoz...

Here's a blast from my checkered gaming past. I got my start illustrating The Arduin Grimoire game books, by David A. Hargrave, back in the late 70s. I wrote about the history of that association back in 2021, revisiting Arduin in 2008 with new art. grognardia.blogspot.com/2021/08/greg...

Artist Max Fellwalker's birthday (1966-2024) is November 7th, she would have turned 58 today. Our relationship burned bright, but short, and she will always be in my memory. One more image to post. Put through an AI photo enhancer, as the original was out-of-focus. One of my favorite images of her.

Biden spoke softly and resolutely, with substance. Old Orange Stain is a shell of reptile-brained reactiveness: A lying racist, adjudicated rapist and traitor. I'd rather vote for decency and democracy than autocracy or theocracy.

Preserving our democracy is what's at stake!

I created this meme to honor artist Max Fellwalker (1966-2024) and remember her. The lyrics were adapted from the Donovan song, Celeste. Farewell, my Dark Princess.
