The concept of leveraging the government’s subsidies to insurance companies to negotiate prices down is literally the reason why Medicare/Medicaid is so efficient. But Trump isn’t going to negotiate anything beyond a few drugs, if that. He’s an attention grabber, not a subject matter expert.
