Nope!

I think I lucked out there, I had gotten a little lost at some point earlier in the game and had picked up some extra levels as a result, it was noticeable but I was able to grind through it

oh yeah, dead easy with double speed and herta lc, that is what I have pivoted to. I meant using that recommended set without the set bonus speeds haha

gotcha. I was considering going for cone, but now its clear that I want Dahlia for my Firefly team so I'm saving instead. the double speed life is fine

I started farming that until I realised that it would require godly substats to reach 180 (if its even possible?? maybe only with her cone?)

oh interesting, there are settings for an older school font and the original BGM tracks. I guess I should enable those. I am playing the Pixel Remasters for QoL and compatability more than a dislike of the older style.

I'm not saying it didn't need it, that card was bustedly good, and it was only how bustedly good it was that made my otherwise very mid deck sometimes function ok

and he was happy with that!

I am trying not to be mean about the guy here, he is a decent enough person even though we don't agree on AI

and sometimes good enough is good enough

I really wish I could just accept it as harmless fun, but ah, god damn, those externalities sure are a bitch huh
November 11, 2025 at 5:54 AM
basically. it was sad, in a way. it was a solid 50% of the way to being something worth listening to
November 11, 2025 at 5:50 AM
I won't call it soulless - it was more like, he poured all his creative efforts into it, and the generation process filed off all the potentially interesting parts of his vision until only slop remained
November 11, 2025 at 5:48 AM
absolutely don't let the specter of the ending ruin the journey! it was a bold choice, and maybe not one that I would have made, but I didn't dislike it.

I'll happily offer a dissenting opinion, I find the negative takes valid but overblown
