some were saying that trochek might be a better fit if the rangers were selling (32 y/o C when LA lacks C depth vs. 34 y/o LW) but considering panarin basically forced his way out this is tidy business re: term&price

whether they SHOULD be buying at the deadline is a different story. but good work
