It's not skill, preparedness, or coaching. It's hunger. #NYR just aren't hungry. They don't give a shit. In years past they at least did when their backs were to the wall, but even now that's gone.

Surprised they didn't give Rempe more for that hit. Not that it should have been, but because of who he is. And he got better at fighting. Way to go. #NYR

#NYR are closer to a playoff spot than they deserve, and make the most of it by losing 8-2 and following that up with 5 shots through nearly 35 minutes in the next game. Like, just trade and fire everyone.

Some teams have a rusty first period, wake up, and move on. Other teams give up 5 goals. The team that gives up a fiver probably isn't playoff-caliber. #NYR
